Confession: I am NOT a sports fan.

Seriously, I'm just not. I never played in and never found myself all that interested in watching them either. I'm lucky to tell a touchdown from a home run. So, a few years ago when we had the opportunity to go see a Harlem Globetrotters game, I must admit I was only in it for the kids. While I had heard the name before, I wasn't really familiar with who the Globetrotters were and what kind of basketball game we were about to experience.

Boy, was I in for a surprise!

I learned very quickly that this was truly unlike any basketball game I had experienced in my life. 

You see, Harlem Globetrotters isn't just a basketball game, it's also full of tricks and jokes that had us all laughing out loud from start to finish. Yes, even those of us in the family who aren't typically sports people.

So this year when we were given the chance to get tickets for the 2023 World Tour, I found myself actually looking forward to it this time around... though certainly not as much as my kids still were. Take a look at some photos from our experience:

So, how did it compare to the first time around? 

Still every bit as entertaining! Sure, we knew a little bit more of what to expect this time around and there were even some of the same jokes... but it still kept us laughing each and every step of the way! These guys (and girls) are truly very talented athletes, but beyond that they put on a great show as well. The show is super interactive, which makes it all that much more fun... and at times a bit unpredictable too. I don't want to give away too many details... but it is certainly one that is a great experience with all. My kids are already looking forward to the next time!
